Bream

Bream is a term referring to several species of sea fish of the Sparidae family. The most common in Italy are the great bream, which has a series of parallel lines that run perpendicularly along the back, and the common bream, with less evident lines.

The meat is good, firm, but should be tasted fresh since it quickly loses consistency. It is excellent baked, grilled and, if small, cooked in a pan.
