Chili pepper

Chili pepper is a variety of red pepper grown in Latin America, characterized by a conical shape of a few centimeters long. It is harvested at the end of summer, when it is richer in capsicin, a highly spicy substance that determines the strong flavor of the chili.

The chili, reduced to powder, enriches many typical dishes of South America, to the point that these preparations are baptized with its name (for example: chili of beans, chili of meat, etc.). Chili should be stored in airtight jars.
