Shallot

The shallot is a herbaceous plant that produces bulbs similar to those of the onion. It is divided internally into wedges, surrounded by a double light brown envelope. The shallot is used as a condiment instead of onion or garlic, in fact it combines the two flavours in a truly more delicate taste.
