Unleavened bread

The term "unleavened" means "without yeast" (translation of the Greek term "azymos"). It is with the unleavened bread that still today the people of Israel during the Easter period remember the escape from Egypt. Unleavened bread is made with wheat flour and water and looks like a rather flat hardtack.
