Vodka

Vodka is a distillate of Russian origin, whose name, however, derives from the Polish "woda" - which means water - in reference to its colorless transparency. It is obtained from the distillation of wheat, but also of potatoes and sugar beet. Vodka should always be drunk ice cold and goes perfectly with caviar and smoked fish.
