It is a fruit grown in countries with a warm climate and the Italian regions where it is most widespread are Campania and Emilia Romagna.

Apricot, which appears on the market from the beginning of June until August, is highly appreciated as a fruit and used in the kitchen for various sweets and sometimes even savory preparations.
