Cannoncino

Cannoncino is a small pastry made of puff pastry, usually filled with custard or diplomatic cream .
To make it happen, proceed as follows:
1 Once the puff pastry has been prepared, roll it out with a rolling pin on a floured work surface in a 3 mm thick rectangle.
2 With a small knife, cut strips 3 cm wide and about 30 cm long from the pastry. If desired, you can also use a smooth pastry wheel .
3 A metal cannoncino cylinder is greased and the strip of pastry moistened on one side is wrapped around it, sealing the end of the dough well.
4 Brush the cannoncini with sugar syrup, then roll them in granulated sugar. Then they are put in a preheated oven at 200 ° , and cooked for 15 minutes. When they are lukewarm, they are removed from the cylinders and filled with whipped cream or cream, as desired.
