Carnia

Carnia is a cheese produced with cow's milk and, sometimes, small additions of goat's milk. It is prepared in wheels with a diameter of 40-50 cm and a thickness of 15 cm. It has a thin, yellowish brownish rind and a fairly firm white-yellow paste. This type of cheese is produced in the omonymous area of Friuli, Italy.
