Castagnaccio

Castagnaccio is a cake of Tuscan origin, currently widespread in all Italian regions and based on chestnut flour. Its preparation is quite simple; mix the chestnut flour with water, sugar, oil, raisins, pine nuts and then bake in a low pan, after having sprinkled the surface with rosemary needles and a drizzle of oil.
