Clafoutis is a French rustic dessert typical of Limousin, prepared with black cherries (or large red cherries), arranged in a buttered baking tray and covered with a dough made with flour, butter, eggs, sugar and milk. The cake must then bake in the oven at 180° for about 35-40 minutes, until the cream becomes firm. Clafoutis is usually served sprinkled with icing sugar.
