Dandelion

Dandelion is a small herbaceous plant, also known by the names mad salad and dog tooth. It grows spontaneously in spring and autumn in meadows, along roadsides and in uncultivated places. The deep green leaves, with a serrated edge and central rib, have an elongated shape. Its taste is slightly bitter.

Dandelion can be enjoyed in salads as well as stir-fried but it is also an excellent ingredient for some soups.
