Sfoglia

Sfoglia, commonly known as puff pastry, is a term used to indicate a type of pasta, prepared with flour and butter and used for cakes as well as for vol-au-vent. The word 'sfoglia' refers also to the pasta for tagliatelle, which ismade with flour and eggs, the dough obtained from this mixture is then laid with a rolling pin.
