Savarin

Savarin is a French term (from the name of the famous gastronome A. Brillat Savarin) referring to a cake made with babà dough, soaked in sugar syrup, flavoured with rum and cooked in a round mold with a central hole. Once out of the mold, the savarin is served with fruit or Chantilly cream put at the center of the cake.
