Scottadito

Scottadito is an Italian term referring to a typical dish of Lazio, grilled lamb ribs. Its name seems to be deriving from the fact that shepherds, after grilling the ribs on the fire, ate them with their hands, thus burning their fingers (in Italian 'scottadito' literally means 'burnt fingers').
